Accudemia - Feature Requests

There are weekly restrictions for students in the maximum appointments they can make in a center, but this restricts students for making appointments for other services that the center offers. We use accountability hours and tutoring in the same center, and accountability hours are specifically for students who just want to come in to our center and self-study. Having the email notification that they have an "appointment" is a reminder for them to come in and do work in a monitored environment. We use this service for our high-touch students who need more accountability to come in and get their work done. But, if a student comes in for accountability hours every day and the weekly restriction is 5 appointments in a center- which ours is, this restricts them from also using tutoring. It could be simple enough to make the maximum weekly appointments more, but we do not want other students abusing this privilege for more tutoring appointments.

Currently, our SIS allows students to enter their preferred name but Accudemia does not have space for the name to be listed. This is especially complex for our transgender students who may be identifying as a different gender than their name may suggest.

Multiple schools have requested this. Please enable staff to register students for events. Additionally, can you update the Accudemia app to allow students to register for events through the app? This will make the process more accessible and efficient. Finally, allowing workshops to be tied to specific classes. A feature that filters or restricts workshops to students from certain classes or groups could increase the relevance of sessions and prevent incorrect bookings.

Currently, one of our team members works out of Arizona since we have two campuses, and the main campus is in CST. When our Arizona team makes appointments with students on the main campus, they need to individually set their schedules according to CST. It would be great if the system allowed for individual accounts to have time zones reflect their location similarly to how Outlook recognizes that you are in a different time zone when you travel.

Please allow an option to force students to add notes when making an appointment. Right now it is optional, but we would like the ability to make it mandatory when students make appointments to add notes depending on the center.

When we need to edit/enter a tester's time out because they did not sign-out, can we enter their time out instead of calculating how many minutes they were in the testing center?

When students are logging into the kiosk, can we move the "next" button that is located in the bottom right corner to be higher and closer to the left side of screen? Perhaps, directly under the selection options? I feel it would speed up the log-in process, and help with log-in fatigue for our users. Also the "next" button sometimes gets partially cut off from view in our browser windows.

Currently "showed up" and "scheduled" are both green. Changing "scheduled" to a different color (like blue) would make the difference between "showed up", "scheduled", and "no show" more distinct at a glance.

I know we can set a maximum number of hours per week for all tutors, but I would like to be able to set this for individual tutors. This would make it easier for them to maximize their pay with less work on their end. (We pay our tutors per appointment, with no-shows and same-day cancellations paid for the full hour.) Right now, if a tutor is aiming to do five hours of tutoring appointments in a week, they could schedule themselves for, say, ten hours to maximize the number of hours available and increase their odds of getting booked. Then when they hit their five hours of booked appointments, they can manually remove availability for the remaining hours. It would be great if each tutor could set wide availability and then have Accudemia cut off appointments for a given week when their schedule reaches that designated number of booked hours of appointments per week.

There is already a global option for this. It would be nice to be able to set this option for individual tutors. For example if a tutor wants to only do 6 appointments per week but has availability for 10 slots, then have a setting so that once that tutor is scheduled for 6 appointments there can be no more appointments scheduled that week.
