Auto-Refresh Paused

Having the auto-refresh paused after 15 minutes is irritating. I monitor my centers' activity so I am often not doing anything on the page but I am watching the activity. It would be helpful if I could at least set the time before the auto-refresh is paused. Or have the refresh like it was so it is continually refreshing.

Indeed! This was changed in a recent update. You can now increase the auto refresh timeout from 15 minutes to two hours! This can be done in the Control Panel.
Keep in mind that the auto refresh only pauses if you are not using the keyboard or mouse for that period. Using either would reset the pause timer.
If you are wondering why have an auto refresh pause? The answer is optimization. The auto refresh on your screen is not computationally intensive by its own. However, if you have auto refresh occurring every few seconds on thousands of computers, then that would cause a heavier load on the server and might cause the service to slow down. This is especially wasteful if the user has left for the day and left that screen up to refresh all night or during the weekend when no one is there to see it!

I agree! Pausing auto-refresh is very irritating. I am likewise monitoring activity even if I am not "doing anything" on the page
